Cobalt on the up and up I am new to the Cobalt investment as I never really thought about this mineral ever becoming a thing again.. until recently... I grew up about thirty minutes from the town called Cobalt and honestly is a beauitful place. Nice scenario around there and lots of tourist attractions (old mines, and collections) if you are into that type of stuff. That being said when I saw that all these automotive companies were investing in a big way into EV not just Telsa I decided to look into the materials that are needed.
Cobalt as it turns out seems to be on the of the least produced minerals needed for these batteries and which stands to see the highest returns. Cobalt Ontario is a great place to get in as the infrastucture is already there short of needing to revamp a couple the mining holes. As well Northern Ontario has also made a effort in upgrading transportation lines and highways over the last decade.
Easy access, Locals want the industry, Grants, Light amount of infastructure upgrades, Skilled labor force and a high amount of cobalt ( Plus silver) and the mayor of cobalt is talking about production happenin in the next year or two. Seems like 1.25 is a very fair price, I would imagine a 2-3 year GIC wouldnt give you a return rate that this company will. Anyways as of tomorrow I am going all in on this bad boy. Excited to be able to invest in my hometown area and see a very depressed economy turn around as well put Canada on the map for clean and fair wage cobalt. Future on this looks exciting
