CMED Brent is not a slick stock promoter such as Cam from ACB. To be put on the spot over something said some time pre legalisation is a very tough rock to be under. Your statement of his intent of the original statement is probably correct, but the media bite rules PR wise now days.

CMED Brent is not a media darling beast, but I bet with some PR / acting coaching and a stylist or two he could have groupies lining up. However it is much easier on Brent to flip that PR duties to the HIP dude.
