advise me on my next step to convert all Alterra shares
to Innergex? Do I simply complete the form and mail it in or will
Alterra provide an online option to select
my preferred choice similar to the process for
voting on the sale to Innergex? Thank you.

I'm using Schwab, but I wouldn't really call them a personal broker. When your logged into your broker, is there any option to contact for help? Or search for some location for corporate actions?

My daughter had a small number of shares on Merrill-Lynch, and when we found the Corporate action notice, they wanted $30 to convert the shares (or get the $8.25 CAD), which was excessive for the # of shares she had, so she just sold them. Schwab, on the other hand, is converting my shares for $0.

Perhaps the answer for you, if you can't get an answer from RBC, is to mail in the form. But I'd first try to get an answer from RBC.
