Marimaca Copper Corp. is a Canada-based exploration and development company focused on base metal projects in Chile. The Company’s principal asset is the Marimaca Copper Project, located in the Antofagasta Region of northern Chile. The Marimaca Copper Project is situated at a low altitude in Chile’s Coastal Copper Belt, 25 kilometers (km) east of the port of Mejillones and 45 km north of Antofagasta, Marimaca has access to water and power, road and rail networks supplying sulphuric acid and other consumables, as well as deepwater ports. The Marimaca Copper Project comprises a set of concessions (the 1-23 Claims), properties 100% owned and optioned by the Company, combined with the adjacent La Atomica and Atahualpa claims, over which Marimaca Copper has the right to explore and exploit resources. The Company also has an option agreement to acquire the Pampa Medina project (Pampa Medina), which consists of four mining concessions totaling 144 hectares.

RE:To follow up on the takeover talkIf you look at the map on page 17 of the latest corporate presentation you will see that there is about 5 kms of mineralization from north to south.  So if you look the copper that is exposed at surface and all along the "base of red cap", its not hard to see how you get to 1 billion tons copper over 5km of strike. 

Just how small the 70 to 100 mt at Marimaca is is made very clear if you look at that image on pg 17.  Print it out and outline only what is considered Marimaca proper.  Exclude all of La Atomica and you will see that Marimaca is a postage stamp compared to the rest of the claim block.  ALL of which has "Marimaca type" mineralization at surface and at exposed undergroung workings.

500mt tons from surface this close to infrastructure is a dream come true to a major and 1 billion is not out of reach.
