RE:RE:Nothing to do, play ACB+CMED, shares+cash Puzzle :) I have red StayinCash . It was a nice layout
but I need more details , I need to find exactly the number of ACB shares plus CASH randomly.
not only at 25%, 50% or 75% or 100% chose cash option
that is why I created 2 equations to solve the problems, i can find exactly CASH + ACB shares
for any % of cmed share chose cash option.
(a) $43 = X*12.65 + $140M/Y% of cmed shares. (b) cmed = X*acb + $140M/Y% of cmed shares for example:
if 41% chose cash option , how many ACB shares + cash we will get for 1 CMED share ?
the solution:
if 41% chose cash option
Y= 41%
= (total cmed shares x 41)/100
= (24.56M x 41)/100
Y = 10.069M
from
(a) $43 = X*12.65 + $140M/Y% of cmed shares. $43 = X*12.65 + 140M / 10.069
=X*12.65 + 13.90
X= ($43-$13.90)/12.65
X= 2.3
so if 41% chose cash opton
then from (b) cmed = X*acb + $140M/Y% of cmed shares
cmed = 2.3*acb + $13.90
at the present acb = $9.25
then cmed = 2.3*9.25 + $13.90
= $35.17
anwer : if 41% chose cash option. then 1 cmed share = 2.3*acb + $13.90
or 1cmed share= $35.17
(my average cost for 1 cmed share = $30.62 so after conversion, i gain $35.17-$30.62=$4.55 for each share.
ONLY IF 41% chose cash option and acb = $9.25. )
tomorrow ACB share price change then i have to calculate again :)
