If an individual, not too worrisome, but I'd suspect Gregg was able to have a resources fund take them off his hands. 3 million shares is meaningful to an individual, but nothing to a fund with $100 million or more under management. In that case the fund can take the risk for a miniscule percent of the portfolio and both gents are happy. Gregg is happy to have his cash, and the fund manager is happy to be of service to an old friend.
