Rosie I could not agree more. These “wash” trades between accounts at TD and CIBC have been going on for over a year.They are blatant, very amateurish and definitely smack of market manipulation. A jailable offense in Canada. 

 

Stockfy - way back - looked at laying a complaint with the Exchange regulator.  I think it is time we all joined him in this effort. So Stockfy - if you could be so good as to let us all know how to go about it -  and -maybe someone who is adept at this -  could frame for us a short basis for the complaint (just a simple paragraph will do).  With that in hand I hope as many people on the Board as possible will e mail / file one of these every time this trade occurs. Sooner or later the volume of mails will get their attention.

 

I will be writing to the compliance officers at CIBC and TD also drawing their attention to the problem. If they dont act to stop it, they could be found complicit in these trades.  I think they are are obliged to inform the Mounties of any suspicious activity.

 

And by way - why do I keep thinking one or two of our trolls may involved in this?
