what do you think the motivator is here
for an alcohol distributor
to take a position in an MJ company?

beyond the idea of pure speculation for profit

some have suggested the idea to develop an MJ infused beverage
but don't really need an equity position in an LP for that
a JV would suffice

maybe to get a seat on the board?
to be inside before the intended takover?

or maybe just to be inside
