Untendering my shares
Untendering my sharesI had about 50% of my shares tendered but I am untendering all of them now based on what I know so far.
1. Markets in general are too scary to be locked in for 2+ weeks.
2. The Cash component is too small and we can be assured proration given the situation, we can guess the vast majority of people who have tendered have selected the cash component since we have been trading less than $43 per share.
3. We will possibly see CMED trade even higher than it is trading right now so I'm planning selling on peaks. You CANNOT sell if you have tendered.
4. A lot of CMED holders who were into CMED because it was undervalued, will likely dump ACB after getting them because it's still overvalued. This will cause even more short term pressure on ACB.
5. It's impossible to know which brokerage houses will get their redemption first so it's all controlled by ACB behind the scene with zero investing public visibility. This create a blinside scenario for the average investor. None of the brokerages know.
6. I don't want ACB, I would rather buy APH or WEED. ACB has the highest short ratio for a reason.
7. The market and sector sentiment is bearish, bulls haven't reconfirmed bull recovery. If that happens, I might re-tender.
I want to be in cash or have the abilty to go to cash at a moment's notice. Once the "take up" happens (post March 7th), cash is locked up. You can no longer untender.
