RE:RE:RE:RE:QUESTION:Hey Mack, the Court is not trying to screw us, it"s the Priest(unsure of his name @ this time) that is heading a group of individuals who filed the Constitutional Injunction. Don't forget, that judge Dante Almonte imposed a fine of RD$10,000.00/day to be paid to the Bishops office should the sentence not be fulfilled. Also, think about the Court's Decision that was a verbal summary from a court clerk with a written summary to follow within a week that took three.
In the DR the President is the focal point of the political system, the Constitution bestows executive power in a President that is elected by popular vote. Judges are chosen by the Senate, not the President to limit executive power. This is all based on a non corrupt system.
I would have been more concerned if the Supreme Court got involved vs the Penal Chamber. Anyways, only three million plus shares where shaken out with the press release dated Mar. 27th, which only represents about 1% of shares out. This all makes sense as the DR made the Injunction public on the 25th.
So, a lot has transpired for the investor and some time in the future we are going to find out if the tail was wagging the Dog.
