RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Uranium spot price mangoe wrote: bottomtrawler01 wrote: Well if it's not news to you Mangoe, then why do you keep posting the futures price and calling it the spot price?
Because they are all tied in togather not much daylight between the future uranium spot price and fixed the weekly spot price, stocks are foward looking so they tend to trade with the futre spot price that fluctuate daily than than weekly fix price,
the uranium future spot price dictate the trend of the fixed spot price. Many years ago I use to post the fixed weekly from UXC and Trade Tech I found out that the stocks are trading on the uranium future price that goes up and down than the lagging weekly spot price that is posted on those sites for the unpaid subcribers to those sites. Tomarrow is Friday if the uranium future goes up $2.00 tomarrow guess what will go up next week tuesday on the Uxc and Trade Thech uranium info sites the lagging fixed uranium spot price will go up $2.00 for the unpaid subscribers to see on those sites, I would not pay a dime just to see that uranium spot price on those sites when the uranium futures sites are free and is dictating the weekly fixed uranium spot price.
I know all that. Regardless, you are still putting the horse before the cart and calling the cart a horse.
Delayed as it is to those of us without pricey UXC subscriptions, the futures price follows the spot, not the other way around. Despite when the general public gets the info.
Why not just call it what it is? The current futures price :)
And I appreciate that you post it for those that don't have the knowledge, not to mention that you have a lot of other great posts, I just prefer to call a spade a spade.
