WRITING ON BOARDS WITH NO REFERENCES IS POINTLESS New Nadina Explorations is still hopeful about Monument, and it may need to purchase additional machinery for the removal of the large qauntity of diamonds.
Ellen Clements's New Nadina Explorations Ltd. (NNA), down one-half cent to 19 cents on 8,000 shares, remains hopeful at its Monument diamond project on the southern shore of Lac de Gras in the Northwest Territories. The project was big news in the mid-2000s, when Dr. Christopher Jennings acquired a 22.11-per-cent interest in the property from his former company, SouthernEra Diamonds Inc., for $1-million. His enthusiasm had been bolstered through regular drilling by New Nadina, which holds a 57.5-per-cent interest. That work produced diamond counts showing that several large kimberlite pipes were significantly diamondiferous. He still holds his interest and Dr. Stewart Blusson still has a 20.4-per-cent share in the project through his Archon Minerals Ltd. (ACS: $1.09), and both fellows express much optimism that Ms. Clements will get back to work soon.
