RE:RE:Smelling in Sweden

@Wong: Good grief, Quote stats are WORTHLESS. I can quote all day long. CLOSING the sale and BOOKING the revenue are the stats that matter. TSO3 can toss out quotes all day long. It doesn't indicate sh#t. It's very obvious that the VP4 is quite the slow selling medical device.  Why?  Hospitals do not LIKE it?  Hospitals do not USE it?  Well, of course they may like it if it was given to them for FREE.

Getinge has the sales infrastructure and existing relationships to really be the one to roll out this device globally.  But that haven't.  Because they couldn't.  So you think Rumble's new fancy 10-person sales crew is going to yield better results than Getinge?  TSO3 has zero feet in the door from a sales perspective, a new immature and inexperienced sales force, and zero reputation in the industry.  And you believe they will outsell Getinge?

Every current install out there is faulting and requires too much attention from customer staff and TSO3 service staff.  Look at the consumables numbers and do your own basic 3rd grade math: Even though there are a handfull of (somewhat legit) installs, the consumables numbers are NOWHERE close to where they should be, thereby suggesting customer utilization is extremely and unexpectedly low. That means the hospitals are NOT performing nearly as many cycles as TSO3 suggests/predicts.  Why?  From that you can infer: 1) the hospital doesn't like using it, 2) the hospital doesn't require it as much as they/TSO3 thought, AND/OR the machine is faulting too frequently requiring on-site service.  The numbers are just not there.

Stats on Quoting have zero value.  There isn't even enough sales history for you to assume that out of those 40 quotes that there will be X number of closes or sales as you state.  What if the Quote-to-Sale ratio is 100 to 1?

I love your cheerleading Wong.  But I just think you're completely wong.
