AI-Research Distribution Agreement with Thomson ReutersThis agreement is actually quite important.
While details of the monetary portion of the agreement are lacking, suffice it to say that if Thomson Reuters feels that it can leverage this type of AI-driven research to help create additional subscription revenue from any of its (Thomson Reuters) existing platforms, then Thomson Reuters will probably try to buy AnalytixInsight before any of the competition steps in.
whereby Thomson Reuters will distribute financial research reports created by AnalytixInsight’s artificial intelligence platform to customers on its financial desktop applications Eikon and Thomson One.
Consider this a "test" phase... if the AnalytixInsight AI-driven research data actually yields tangible results, then it's possible that Thomson Reuters will be stepping in to buy this company outright.
While it's tempting to sell a bit of shares on this recent pop, my gut tells me to hang on for just a little bit here... with 66 million shares outstanding, what would Thomson Reuters be willing to pay to own rights to monetize AnalytixInsight research within some of its online subscriptions?
More importantly, is AnalytixInsight AI-driven research robust enought to yield tangible results?
Full disclosure, I've had this on my watchlist and bought at 42 cents yesterday after this recent news release hit my watchlist inbox. Frankly, I thought this stock would be somewhat listless until later this year (sometime in Fall) when I believe it was scheduled to release an upgrade on its Italian bank mobile app offering.
This could be good... but only time will tell!
