Only thing we know is the former company was late on their filings. Also a former colleague went and jointed Eight Capital. 

Eight Capital was part of the bought deal at $4 and once the stock headed to $3, the OSC pops up launching an investigation due to insider selling (two board of directors sold before the news) and they are investigating the CEO Ben Ward.

Some suspect this was a sabatoge act by the former colleague at Eight Capital to get out of the Bought Deal. 

Maricann cleared Ben Ward to continue his work and no formal investigation or proceedings have been launched against him.
