As example, as an organization design consultant, I found it highly inappropriate for a very junior exploration company to have a VP of Corporate Development. This role did nothing to enhance shareholder value as expected but Mary Voirvois was over paid over 200 000 plus per yr for years. Why was this job not abolished when the results were not there. Is this again a family connection reward situation.
A: I believe it has been an efficiently run company. I don’t know what industry metric you are running this against, though I believe we are a fairly small group managing the company effectively and with modest costs for the activities we have been involved with.
I will say that there is no family connection to Mary, and she is an exceptional professional.
