RE:RE:RE:BEWHi Speedy, based on my understanding and my background in electrical engineering, Otodata's sensors are specifically built to measure to fuel tank levels. They must have specific sensors and antennas to measure fuel levels (more specifically reflectance & transmission of the signal) -- fuel tanks have various shapes and fuels come in different kinds too (diesel, gasoline with 91 octane rating, etc.). All this needs to be taken into account. Measuring just pressure would not be accurate enough to accurately derive fuel levels IMO. BeWhere's beacons have a variety of generic sensors, which can do many things and covers many possible applications. However, for specific things, such as measurement of fuel level, you need specific equipment to do this. BeWhere can't target every market either and customizating their beacons for too many industries/applications would just take up way too much time. They are targetting a few very large verticals such as transportation, medical, smart infrastructure/city, etc.
