They first demo'd the THC drinks at the Cannabis Cup LAST APRIL... it's been ready over a year, plus it's mother effing legal in California. What's the holdup? Let's go already... fix the mistakes as they arise - otherwise by the time we sell, someone else will have beat us to the punch (maybe Hawaiian Punch????) I have a lot at stake like many of you - but I have to say the speed is brutal.
The post is below for the NKOTB.

I guess I'll address this.
The product run done for the cannabis cup has a number of important factors we need to take into account
1) It was done before the sativa based reformulation
2) It was a special, small batch and was done before the company knew if that recipe was "shelf ready". Make the best beverage in the f*cking universe and it's useless if it can't sit on a shelf for 3 months and be just as good 3 months later as it was one day one off the bottling line
3) It was completed prior to moving in to the current (temporary) facility
So yes. Since that (just over 1 year ago), Tinley has:
- Reformulated Tinley 27 to adjust the dosage and experience (Oct/17)
- Redesigned packaging and product to align with change to Cali regs (Nov 17...note, that these are the same regulations that are churning the cali MJ market right now)
- Moved into licensed temporary facility and retrofitted facility to serve the companies purposes (Feb 18, with nearly 6 weeks in government based delays)
- Received permits for production of MJ based product and signed lease for permanent facility (end Feb 18)
-Completed batch run of Hemplify product, which was necessary to replace stock that Tinley was pulling from retail stores. This was absolutely necessary to maintain the retail relationships that Tinley has built with these brick and mortar locations, otherwise you just pull the pin on Hemplify and frankly while that isn't our core product, it would be a mistake to abandon it (Early March 18)
-Completed testing batch of Tinley Margarita (Early April18)
-Signed distribution agreement with CMX (mid April 18)
-Brought in an ex Cott exec and the owner of CMX on as board members (mid May 18)
So I find myself asking the same question that I asked the other day. Where have you worked that operates faster than that? I've personally worked in supervisory level positions for 2 publicly traded (NYSE) companies and I don't find this pace odd in the least.
How about examples from the cannabis industry of bringing a new product to market faster than this?
