It blocks viral entry into host cells while preserving normal immunologic function. The Company is also investigating an intramuscular method of administration of Trogarzo. EGRIFTA SV (tesamorelin for injection) is approved in the United States for the reduction of excess abdominal fat in people with HIV who have lipodystrophy.

My 2 cents

This is a life-saving drug and the last line of defence for a significant subset of the HIV population. Thera as been preparing for a year with a big sales force and a strategy to hit the ground running at the moment approval was given. Furthermore, approval came fast by the insurers.

So if I am an investor or a broker, I expect Thursday, Thera will either beat by a landslide the analyst consensus and everyone will turn giddy or at a minimum I expect Thera to lay out how their year-long strategy is panning out against the first 3 months of work in terms of penetration and projection going forward.

The rest is noise like jmf1330 said.
