Thank you Ms. Extremerisk. The article is long and interesting. Having said that, what distinguishes Fairfax and Tesla from the Corus' case is simply different line of business. Corus is in the business of making money by selling adds in tv, and this as we know is in continuing decline for a quite some time - and what is worse, there is no perspective for a change. Thus, blaming shorts is like blaming umbrella makers for the fact that there is a rain. It is not shorts fault that Corus is where it is - near the cliff. It is the management and Shaw who drove this organization to this point and retail investors are at the receiving end - that is left in the darkness and holding the bag.
