Dates of summer gold price bottoms

Dates of summer gold price bottomsSpot gold has bottomed twice, each of the last five years.   The mid-year bottoms have been:  7/10/17, 5/31/16, 7/31/15, 6/3/14, and 6/28/13.

The end of year bottoms are more closely clustered: 12/13/17, 12/23/16, 12/18/15, 11/05/14, and 12/23/13.

Spot gold has regularly-bottomed, in December (and one Nov), and at around mid-year.  See this chart for illustration https://www.kitco.com/charts/popup/au1825nyb_.html.  Whether one ascribes this behavior to bank manipulation, Asian buying patterns, or whatever; these regular bottoms have been great times to buy.

Of course, past behavior does not guarantee future results.  I am not an investment professional, and this is not investing advice.  Do your own due diligence.  Don't listen to me, I am a naive idiot.
