Ben Cerniavsky at Raymond James is chronically wrong for 3-4 years and yet he still is on Financial Post spewing his negative senitments about Air Canada. I don't know why anyone takes him seriously. 2016, he called Westjet the better pick saying Westjet would lower costs https://business.financialpost.com/investing/trading-desk/westjets-turf-war-with-air-canada-creates-paradox-for-investors-raymond-james-analyst
Listening to him, you would have lost money. AC has been trimming costs and bringing in capacity where needed. WJA has meanwhile starts pet-projects everywhere. First Encore, then a discount international version to London (London needs for flights??) with decrepit 767s, then now a full service international carrier (hint: high cost) with 787s, and now Swoop while pissing off their employees who now are going to unionize.
I really do not understand why he is still calling AC at $21. I swear he does it just to be different :P
