I thought you were barking up the wrong tree... So I'm sorry to dissappont you @katangan18, but you really do seem to have absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about. Firstly, the "share buyback" you talk about is a GLENCORE MATTER and has absolutely nothing to do with Katanga Mining Limited stock or shares. End of story. You know these are two completely different companies, right? The Glencore share buyback is buying $1billion of Glencore shares subsequently to be held by Glencore Treasury. Glencore may subsequently cancel them entirely. Citigroup is simply the transacting Broker doing what Glencore instructs it to do. Where on planet earth do you come up with the idea that Glencore's nominated Broker (Citi) can go off, all on its own and buy shares of KAT instead? I really suggest you do a ton more reading and research about these things before laying out your nonsence "theories" in public forums like this as you will only attract ridicule. In any event, good luck to you if you are a KAT shareholder, as am I. These are my views only only. Thanks for reading.
