RE:A typical trader's life on message board(1)

RE:A typical trader's life on message board(1) Interesting post.   I feel there is a lot of investment immaturity on this board.  I’m guilty of it sometimes as I get upset by people with unfounded negative opinions who seem to troll this board.
ive been managing wealth since the 90s and It confounds me why people would go to stock house to post negative comments on stuff they don’t even own.  I truly believe they would be much better off using the time to educate themselves, put money aside and start investing in something they like.

80% of the stuff on this board is crud.  It takes so much time to filter out the garbage. I do like the YouTube music videos though....

One example - On Monday they will post Canopy is extremely good Company, International presence, buy buy buy.  On Wednesday, the same person will say Canopy is very bad Company, big losses, sell sell sell.  On Friday, back to buy buy buy.
For some time, the Board may not notice this. However after some time every one realizes what they are doing.

(2) My opinion it takes hard work to establish reputation on board. Please try not to destroy your good reputation. Sometimes I see "I like Kris posts". To me, this is worth more than the weight of Gold.

(3) I will tell an interesting story. There was a faith healer in a Mount Everest Cave. People from far distance will come to him with health problems. One day a father and son team came to him. Father said my son eats too much sugar, can you please do something about it. The healer started thinking and said "Please come back after 14 days, then I should be able to do something. The father said it is a long journey for them to come there. The healer again replied "I am sorry I will not be able to do anything today. After 14 days, yes I will be able to cure your son. Both went home, after 14 days they came back. The healer told the son "My boy, eating too much sugar is not good for your health, it causes diabetic, effects your liver, etc. etc. Total he talked for couple of minutes. Then, he said to father - your son is cured now. The father was surprised. He said why
he could not have said this 2 weeks ago. The healer replied "2 weeks ago I myself was eating too much sugar. At that time my saying would not have done any good to him. In 2 weeks time, I lowered my sugar intake myself. Now my words will be effective to him"

So, if we posters can try to follow the above story, our board will suddenly become extremely good. Thanks for reading my long story.
