I honestly wonder how much of that is Makuch needing to not rock the boat, especially as Sprott was chair when they picked Makuch to replace Ogilvy.  Criticizing Sprott on this issue would probably be bad for Makuch's employment.

Also, I note the pro-Sprott people, here, are ignoring the issues of Bonterra and Metanor.  Clearly those are 1) significant investments, 2)  they are underwater, and 3) they came after Sprott had bought in with his personal money.  That doesn't matter to you folks?  Really?

Judging by grades and intercept length, Bonterra & Metanor stink, compared to what we know of the historical mines in the town of Kirkland Lake.  KL spent 1 million USD buying shares back, last quarter.  Much rather see KL spend the money exploring some of the other mines in KL (yes I know shaft #4 will accomodate that), or buying back shares.
