RE:RE:RE:Tbp rewards shareholders
RE:RE:RE:Tbp rewards shareholders No kidding.....

Tetra sold their Growpros advanced ACMPR license to Northbud for what amounts to 15.5 million shares of Northbud Farms. Rather than hold the shares for themselves, they decided to distribute these shares evenly among investors at a roughly 1:10 ratio. If you own 100,000 shares of TBP, then you will receive 10,000 shares of Northbud Farms as a "dividend in-kind". This has nothing to do with TBP's share price. I'm still baffled by how you came up with that absurd theory.

In this context I tend to disagree with your formulation of "reward" or "gift".
Strictly speaking, the dividend cannot really be called an earning, because it's money out of our own pockets.
Assume the TBP.V share price is CAD 1.10 on September 5 at the market close.
The dividend CAD 0.11 (0.1012 North Bud for every 1 Tetra Share) will be subtracted from the TBP share price on September 6 at the market open > 1.10 - 0.11 = CAD 0.99
Well, and to be precise, it's only a gift if North Bud shares are priced above the 15 cent mark.
CAD 0.11(dividend) x 1 / 0.75 (Tax) = around CAD 0.15
So, if North Bud shares are priced well above 15 cent longer-term, only then one could speak of a reward or gift, which is totally not out of the question. As we all know, gains are possible in this sector.
