RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:GOM Can Not Be Trustedthe GOM suffers from a mental block and that Oyu Tolgoi falls under their sovereign jurisdiction and all business conducted in their country is under their control. They don't trust foreigners.The IA and any other agreements with foreigners don't hold any value in their courts.Because of the frequent changeover of parties within the GOM any past deals made can be invalid as they can continuously change the laws to suit their needs.
With such a dysfunctional GOM and leading to a failed state I won't be surprised if MGL could quite possibly be ripe for a takeover inthe future by either the Chinese or Russians should they continue to default on all their obligations.
OT is the biggest contributor to the MGL economy and if it's a total failure ( I hope I'm wrong) then MGL will disappear from the world map. So far Rio and TRQ are holding up well and meeting their targets ...will the GOM finally smarten up ? who knows !! patience is not one of my attributes.
