RE:News:Confident next set of firings (will deliver more Gold)

RE:News:Confident next set of firings (will deliver more Gold)Agreed - confident they will find more gold, but the question everyone's waiting for the answer to is: how much more? Kinda obvious that will be crucial to where the share price heads.

Only time will tell.

Just as an anecdote, I've been invested in a story like this before, but on that occasion the mineral involved was uranium. The company concerned was ASX listed Extract Resources. When I first invested, we didn't know how much they were likely to find (so, as in this case, I was cautious), but early results were promising and what also gave me confidence was that Rio Tinto had taken a stake in the company.

What happened next was wonderful: as they kept exploring, they kept finding more and more high grade ore - and the SP duly followed, until the company was eventually bought out by the Chinese. Of course for every story like that there are many that don't make it, but, of course, I very much hope that RNC turns out to be another one like Extract, so waiting excitedly to see what they find.

Note that it took about a year for the true scale of Extract's discovery to become apparent and for the share price to reach its peak.

Some of us even built our own resource model from the many drill intercepts the company reported, which put us ahead of the game in figuring out the scale of their find.

It was lovely that some investors in that that I became friendly with on the Aussie HotCopper and ShareScene boards made some serious money from their investments - I did fine, but wasn't prepared to take the degree of risk that they did and so didn't reap rewards on the same scale. Hope this one works out for those taking big risks here.

Cheers,
Mark
