LOL, you know how it works. Investors are basing everything on future performance not on what a startup class of stocks is earning now. It's no different than buying gold when it was $300 an ounce or investing in Apple or Microsoft or any number of modern age companies when they were in their infancies. Look at the explosion of big cap share prices in just the last few years. Those that invest in the sector believe that cannabis worldwide sales could rival those of tobacco or alcohol. It's still all new but who's to say they won't as more and more countries contemplate legalizing marijuana after seeing Canada's example?
