BNN update explains it well, with a scenario included on automated algorithms that likely triggered the sell off and in turn causing the trading halt. "Most of these cannabis stocks reached near record highs yesterday, and the selloffs could be tied to algorithms related to all-time high prices."

I'm guessing it was the massive selling and the circuit breakers cut in. Thats the problem with putting in automated sell orders. Somebody got some cheap shares I picked up another 1000 at 13.92 just for fun.
