Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

45km from leaminton - diageo expands warehouse

45km from leaminton - diageo expands warehouse
This is from the mayor of Amherstburgs facebook feed today.

"I would have preferred to keep today's announcements in Amherstburg positive. A well known local developer has begun the process of building a new hotel in town, and I wanted him to see nothing but good news. Diageo broke ground on their warehousing expansion as well. Unfortunately, elections are what they are, and I received a number of concerns from residents about an arbitration decision that supposedly declared that our local officers, who chose not to accept employment with Windsor Police, were now entitled to severance payouts. The decision does not refer to automatic severance payouts, as has been suggested, and only addresses how benefit comparisons should be made. Unless something has been withheld from me, I do not see any severance determinations at this time. In an effort to alleviate concerns, and provide some transparency, I will post the decision here. Please feel free to review the decision and come to your own conclusions. Hopefully tomorrow we can focus on the positive announcements."
