Alxdf unchanged. 60K changed hands -- almost half daily average volume. Higher low. All of today's trades were in the afternoon.
Azx unchanged. 242K traded on all cdn exchanges (240K on azx-v). Interesting that more than 80% of today's trading was done by 2 x 100K blocks by 2 houses.
Both stox had considerably less than average daily volume. Very few legit selling -- mostly blocks, etc -- especially on azx-v. No panic selling. Eveyone's cool and standing pat. Very important imo when considering the volatility going on in the equity markets.
Ny spot gold down $4 to close at 1228. Gold indices all lower. Very volatile session on dow (down 1%) -- more than 900 point hi/lo spread. Usd had an inside day, and closed higher. 10-year treasury yield also had an inside day, and closed higher.
Bottom-line:
So what happens tomorrow? Alxdf looks likely to trade within today's perimeter. Expect continuing low bids and #s and high best ask supply during session. Azx may continue to trade in place at cdn .03. As with our otc counterpart, I think that large supply at the best ask is mostly fake and phony. You guys are pretty tough. The vultures won't get your shares. imo, both stox may get a bit of an upside pop (intra-day??) tomorrow and/or wednesday.
