Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:just got back from AGM

RE:just got back from AGMThank you for the update. I would love to see APHA ink a deal with a multinational, with deep pockets. APHA shareholders deserve it and the sector needs another big player, like the constellations deal, to step into the cannabis sector and start some hype again.

He is 100% on Aphria payroll.  So we can put that to bed.  He made the move for multiple reasons, personal and business but what I got from him is that the team at Aphria are great people to work with and that the opportunity to shape the birth of a new industry was paramount to his decision.
Vic addressed the elephant in the room (deals) and really just wanted us to understand that daily fluctuations in stock price are meaningless.  The business is progressing and moving towards massive profitability by May 2019.  He said when he makes a deal it will be in the shareholder interest so he isn't rushing to make ANY deal(s)...and he also said it could be more than 1.
He had to hold back when talking about Shoppers...so I'm hoping there is more there...I think there is.  There is so much more to discuss and I will but I have to gather my thoughts and recollections.
I was thrilled to meet up with GonetoPot, Monteviale, InvestorGal, Due Diligence and BSA who is a real gentleman and a great guy as well!  (Also met some partners but they aren't on here so suffice it say I really liked them as well...good people on this board)  I also had the priveledge to introduce Daredevil from Peru via long distance to the rest of the group.  ...of course they were thrilled as was Daredevil.  Again, good people.
I can tell you this (only to people who care to hear my opinion) Vic is ready to grow.  He's taking multiple calls from Investment banks in the USA and also multinationals EVERY WEEK.  As he said, "we are the belle of the ball".  Stay long my friends, Vic is taking this home in 2019.
