Tis is so entertaining if it was not so sad..

Tis is so entertaining if it was not so sad..radioactivity in the cobalt? I am not a geologist or a miner, but I know something about geophysics and mining. The cobalt would have been extensively analyzed prior to mine development and one would think that something like this would have been realized. I don't blame the Congolese at all for what they are doing. It is hilarious, like the Bre-ex scandal. Except it is the other way around. Instead of tampering with the product for profit, they are tampering for profit down the road. hilarious!

This is highly unprofessional, so I can't believe that the people doing this are Glencore. I would believe KCC, although i don't know the structure that well.

It kind of scares me because if the claims are true this is larceny. I would guess if it is KCC, someone will get fired over it. But, it could be worse, the DRC could take more drastic action.

I someone like me sitting in his armchair was suspicious, I would think that many geologists out there were as well. It is a pretty naive move if someone did indeed sprinkle the product with radioactivity. Something like this happened before however, Bre-ex.

It could have a good or bad outcome. Either the larceny gets found out, someone gets fired, and we all move on .. or... something very bad that impacts minority investors. Let's hope for the best!!
