No investor wants to know about that "committee". Lol. It's internal to the company. Hell of an investigation! Lmao. The "committee" move was just part of damage control. Standard. But doesn't help.
The committee is made up of independent directors. Look up the term and what it means as it relates to shareholders as per NYSE. Try reading before posting
I read. But I also comprehend what I read. "Aphria's Board of Directors has appointed a special committee (the Special Committee) of independent directors..." Right. Independent directors appointed by the board. Lmao
Independent directors are not appointed by the board they elected in by the shareholders. Furthermore if they are caught fabricating the truth for the directors the consequences for them are dire. They would not risk their careers as they have no skin in the game. Most of the independent directors were only elected in during the last 3 months.
Dude... I literally copy-pasted from Aphria's release from their website. It says "Board of Directors has appointed a special committee (the Special Committee)". They say the directors joined the company after aquisitions which makes them "independent". And you are the one telling me to read???
