Copper Direction Far From Clear For 2019

Copper Direction Far From Clear For 2019If one searchs the internet for analysis on copper, things are far from clear. However, few people are talking about a shortage. Rather, they are citing slight ouput increases worldwide and no fear/hope of increasing demand. In fact, with the whole China-US trade war, the Chinese economy slowing down, and a fear of a copper output decline that did not happen, we could be waiting a while yet until copper prices surge for us.

I must admit that the chart for CS looks quite nice, but it's too early to be confident that copper prices or CS share price will surge from here. Most of us don't want to hear it, but some people that get labeled as "bashers" might not be wrong when the predict further declines.

Then again, strange things can happen. The pundits could all be wrong, the cynics might be wrong, the the optimists might turn out to be correct. Personally, I'm hoping to make something on copper when it turns, but I can't predict when that will be.
