(1) If you see the present scope - Mexico coming close, door opener in USA. About 33 Countries are Med legal. Some day, India will join band wagen (hugh population, middle class (who can all afford) is a big segment of population.
(2) In terms of usage - many, edibles, health benefits,, drinks, tobacco, Pharma, etc. So, I think we are in a good stock, good timing. I have a feeling we should be doing good in future.
I am feeling kind of frustrated that Canopy has legal means to enter USA, do not quite understand the delay (why not going sooner), however there are many things in the process which I do not have privy info. So, I will simply wait for our (practical) time.
Thanks again.
good conversation Kris,
as to one of your other questions:
who will see the larger revenue stream from CBD/THC beveridges
CGC or STZ
I think in Canada it will CGC, as it will be requirement for distributor to also be an LP
figure this is the reason why Constellation took a CGC position
rather than just doing it themselves, they had the cash, but the red tape is a hurdle
in the US, who knows? initially I think it will be just hemp based CBD beveridges
as cannabis is still federally illegal...I can see STZ doing the distribution
but using CGC as supplier/partner for the CBD component
so perhaps in the US, STZ could see the larger portion of the revenue stream
