RE:Tinley Scores Big - No One Notices YetNice post Slant. I do have a comment to add though. Linton has been on record stating they have been formulating and testing infused beverages. They are also building a bottling plant next to their main building in Smith Falls. I really do see the potential in Tinley and have held my shares, and will continue to hold. I really do hope Canada's intro into consumables is not a flat and red tape wrapped as we have seen thus far.
SlantJohnson wrote: This week has been flat, but I added to my position regardless of the current share price movement. Here's why:
Jeff hired Rick Gillis to act as an operations guy at the end of the year. The bottling equipment for the new facility in Long Beach is on its way from Italy, as was stated on the BB. That same bottling line has been recently showcased in a beverage expo, which Jeff has spoken to at length. The building itself is already set up and awaiting the arrival of said equipment, and the engineering firm taked to install the equipment is ready and waiting. We are due for a press release next week (I thought it was going to be this week, so my bad there). The distribution network is being run not by Jeff, but by Rick, who in his role at Young's was responsible for that exact role. The management team put together has experience at Cott and other well established beverage companies (Mac can tell you more on that). I already spoke to the fact that I contacted the dispensaries that carry Tinley products - all of the dispensaries said that Tinley is sold out almost immediately after arrival. The product reviews are nice to see as well, but that's just scraping the tip of the iceberg once we get 10 million units out per year. Additionally, 10 million bottles is a conservative figure. Lastly, the talk about Canada... I'll only touch on this briefly because I am not concerned with the edibles market in Canada due to the fact that rules for edibles and beverages are not even out yet. It is currently illegal to produce edibles and beverages in Canada. It is even risky business in developing and testing those products because of regulatory obstacles. Has anyone here read about or heard of any canadian companies currently formulating, testing, packaging or playing with beverage? Because I havent. In fact, I've looked at the top 5 (CGC, ACB, APHA, CRON, HEXO) investor presentations, and none are touting their beverage consumables. We are and will be 1-2 years ahead of any other company in this space. Even NBEV ($5 per share) hasn't come out with a viable THC formulation.
I've spoken to Jeff several times and I am 100% confident in Tinley's game plan. The HEXO talk is annoying, but I've put that noise on ignore, and what's left of the discussion is telling me that there are astute investors waiting for this to pop. Looking at other stocks with completely different business models is ridiculous. FOMO makes monsters out of all of us... I'm looking forward to is the day that Tinley delivers on its promise.
