Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Good CEO

RE:RE:RE:Good CEONo one questions Bruce because he has earned his respect. I remember posters on this bullboard who thought Canopy had "backed themselves into a corner, when they took the Constellations deal, and man where they wrong! As for the reported loss, yeah, not so good, but again because he has created so much value for investors why would anyone think to question him. His moves pay off for investors and it shows, look at Canopy's chart, and look at where they are going in the industry - not just talking about it.

As for the BNN interview, since I have watched these two through interviews you can pretty much know they do not like each other much, so why would Bruce give Vic anything. Vic screwed up and Vic owns that. As for someone doing the same thing to Canopy, guess again because it really does not have the odds to happen. Bruce has made some great friends and they really help his stock along, also, the backing of constellations is a bit of a safe guard.

No mine really went after him for a $300M loss last Q, no one has asked any questions on his insane Hiku acquisition, no one had the nerve to suggest his LATAM assets acquired at a similar price to what APHA paid were anything but worth it. He was a bit of a pr!ck on BNN the week of the short attack when he had the opportunity to defend the industry and chose not too, because he should have realized he could be next. But hey, he saved the industry twice with his Constellation deals, so he gets a pass on some of this stuff. Vic just never gave promotion the attention he should have, and almost had a disdain for it, which has cost us from day 1. He was operationally very good, but we needed a better front man as soon as the sector got hot.

He has been pretty straight up and is now very well respected for it - probably has the most credibiliy of anyone in the industry. Everything he says he does, and the company executes very well. There have been a lot of interviews I can recall Vic talking, and almost rambling, about the dominos falling into place, over and over again. He has fed investors complete BS, and lacked the ability to sign with a great partner for the company, Altria, which was a very costly mistake for shareholders, and the direction of the company. Vic's exit as CEO is well deserved.
