The CEO of Hexo said in an interview that they will be accreting $45 million in cash from HIP...

Wait, what?! 

So...the...the other $50 million in cash (on HIP's books) is being used to...to....ACCUMULATE THE REQUIRED 100 MILLION SHARES (AT 50 CENTS A SHARE) TO LOCK UP THE VOTES!
