what do you think the share price should be today ?
It's worth .15 cents.
Heavy dillution, christy lake bust, disappointing west bear results. Inexperienced management giving themselves big option incentives when they haven't done anything, all while paying themselves hundreds of thousands every year. And the uranium they do have in the ground is going to be expensive to mine, ie, won't get mined for a very long time. And I mean come on, look at that chart!
I was in love with christy lake and west bear but more information came to light(drill results) and I had to cut my losses. I had about $350k in.
I took advantage of the sector pullback late december and stepped sideways into other juniors with more potential. All but one of my new portfolio is up >10%+ and uex continues to flounder. I'm not trying to throw salt in your wounds, my wounds still sting too.
My point, don't fall in love with your investment like I did. At the very least, when circumstances change or more info is brought to light, don't be afraid to adjust your position.
Losing money sucks! But I learned sooo much from first starting to buy this company in 2014, the school of hard knocks can be expensive, and I definately got schooled. But I have and will make money from what I learned.
For those of you that bothered to read all this without clicking 'next post', and to my uex shareholder friends, this is what a real junior Uranium explorer looks like...
Glo.V
This is the type of company we all dreamed uex would be but with more uranium, profitable at todays spot and going to actually produce in the next cycle. Agreement with areva mill 40 miles away to buy their ore. CEO sold junior goldeagle mines to goldcorp for 1.5 billion, father started denison mines. Ceo said he was 5 yrs old the first time he was underground in a uranium mine. Moving to tsx main board before the end of q1. Compare their fundamentals to uex. Subsidized by profitable zinc recycling. Check it out. Your welcome.
