Revenue Canada and GST tax comparison
Revenue Canada and GST tax comparisonSeveral months ago I recieved mail from CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) for those of you outside of Canada this is the Canadian version of the USA IRS. The letter stated I had a $12,345( I have not put the correct dollar amount in this posting) credit on my GST personal account from 2005. This struck me as odd as it was 2018. A week later I recieved a call from CRA saying my $12,345 tax bill was outstanding.... My response was "no way, I paid that at my bank, TD here in my local city". My mind raced.... And guess what? Between the local TD banking branch and the posting agent at CRA the money was applied to the wrong Tax ID account. Of course CRA was able to advise me to do nothing but I still receieved arrears letters for a few months...... Now just think of all the cheap shares people can buy right now because someone has made the concious decision to spread rumors without having correct information. As I previously posted the INGEMMET site shows everything is in good standing. Buy what you can on this burst of weakness. GLTA
