CGT/NG - IMHO
CGT/NG - IMHO IMHO -

lsjblade asking why we have not herd anything back from the ''committee '', and did not yet receive an answer. Blaine Monahan no longer works for the
co.
CGT cannot give out a time line on behalf of the French Government as to when their official report on the NG/CGT mine project will be out. Remember, that this report is apparently not just about the mine permit but equally and if not more important to the likes of Newmont, Barrick/Reunion, IAG etc.,the French government's stance on mining in FG for the future.
Further, and I am unclear here as to whether the French intend to present NG.s ESIA to the FG public first and then to allow for reply, before they then issue the govenrment report on the mine permit and FG gold's future. Or, if the French intend to issue their report based on the NG ESIA re., permit and future FG gold stance very close together (not really considering further FG public feedback and thus requiring NG to respond again via documentation). Such reprt date decisions will have a significant impact on the overall timeline for permit approval and mine build. was anyone at the AGM? posted April 02, 2019 01:17 pm by
lsjblade and if so, did you get any info on the current state of affairs? Why haven't we gotten a response from the French committee that was looking into the mining question in F.G??
CGT cannot mpact or know the content or dates of these reports. Remember, that they have no further data or action to contribute. NG is the controlling miner in these negotiations/reports. . The ESIA preparation is in NG’s hands. If my memory serves me correctly it was supposed to have been out in Dec. 2018. Therefore, the French could not IMO issue any report until they have received and considered what NG said in the ESIA. Further, NG has to respond in documented practical ways to the concerns and suggestions brought forward at the public hearings. Consequently they had to wait for public input to end befroe they could beging to respond in the ESIA. They cannot treat these issues lightly if they want the French to respond positively and avoid court legal action. So the report is either complete and now in the hands of the French, or it is still being prepared. This is why I suggested sometime ago that the published time line for this mine, even if the permit is eventually given, may be well underestimated. RE:RE:Forecast posted March 28, 2019 11:19 am by
lsjblade I do not think that the Russians want us out. if they did, they would have made on offer to take us out. the deal we have together is pretty rock solid. we do not even have to participate in the mine…
I hope you are correct. However, the permit is not a done deal and the Russians may be waiting for its approval before they move on CGT. Approval may lift the CGT SP (data on infill drilling completed months ago by NG but not yet reported would assist here), but I don’t feel in this present gold environment that any 'lift' will be significant, thereby necessitating NGs low ball offer be that much higher in a later bid. Further, diluting CGTs % via NG absorbing the mine costs would also probably have a negative impact on a future buyout. GLTA
