Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Today marks the day

RE:Today marks the dayAfter the latest financial reports from Cron, Trst and Tilray the sector could sure use an upbeat quarterly from one of the cannabis large players to give the market confidence that the revenue stream is advancing as anticipated given the short supply and lack of retail stores, especially in Ontario. The Ontario government has learned their lesson that the lottery system doesn't work so they plan on freeing up the store licensing system in the future. I believe the next time around they will be targeting more experienced retailers. Once the number of stores meets demand we should see a nice boost to recreational sales in Canada.
