But there is value here-and I think incoming mgmt insisted on a much bigger cut to the divy than was necesssary, or even rational, so that they could claim credit for increasing it in the coming quarters. This is no phase 1 biotech comp-the operating entity is a highly regulated utility company in what is arguably the most recession proof market on the planet. They have a century plus record of dividends-they are not going to stop now. The recent past was a nightmare-but its over. As I have said here before-as long as management refrains from anything stupid we should be fine-just stay the course and hike power rates as much as allowed-we will be fine! That said-the moment I read about a bold new initiative from the ALA team my 7500 shares will be offered at market!
