RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Regardless of all the BS trading.........New ones that are built out and being set up I assume will not remain company stores but be sold to new franchisees. They surely won't get to name them what they want and be run like renegade cowboy operations. Any existing ones would be better off rebranded to fit the upscale corporate image. Branding is everything in the retail game.

I don't know about any of you guys but I have been an owner of 2 separate and distinct franchise operations. One was a national Real Estate franchise and the other was a video store franchise. I ran and managed 5 separate retail locations at the same time. Retail grunt work. Franchisee/Partner worries about the day by day - works eats and sleeps business operations 7 days a week.

The role of the Franchisor is far and away more lucrative as you farm out all the day by day operations to your Franchisee partners. And they pay the franchisor a pile of money up front and ongoing royalties for the priviledge of buying themselves a job.Franchisors don't pay store management and staff salaries. They  don't deal with staffing. They don't deal with training  staff after the initial turn over period to your new franchisee. Franchisors have bigger and better things to do like finding more Franchisee/Partners who want a job running their own business.
