RE:RE:RE:CannTrust and outdoor

RE:RE:RE:CannTrust and outdoorForm, i think your close. I would expect that the builcings alone will take up 10 to 15 acres, then the perimeter setback looks to be about 50 feet from the pictures I've seen here. So if you consider 50ft x 7500ft = 375K sq ft, / 44000(acre), i would say they would be lucky to crop 80 acres. I'm sure they are calculating some loss into thier numbers from mould or pest infestation. I've read that in Mexico and various other places south, they are cropping as much as 55000 plants per acre, but i think the concensus for this climate is 4 plants per sq meter.

So per acre if you calculate 3600 sq mtrs x 4 = 14,400 plants less perimeter headland, say conservatively 12,000 plants. The yield expectations per plant range, but 500grams seems about the middle, but we'll say 1 pound per plant. A good acre should produce 12,000 lbs, that sounds like about 500kg per acre. 500kg x 80acres = 40,000kg.

I would think this would be a bumper crop. There are plant types that yield higher, grow much larger, but density would drop, and these plants are in the ground for the whole season. I like the autoflower idea, THC is a bit lower, but crop is exposed to elements a lot longer.
