*** this is just hypothetical speculation***

But I've read an article saying the Pentagon is trying to find other sources of REEs outside China because lets face it, it's not exactly a favorable position to be in when you are the most power military in the world and your advanced military tech needed to maintain your position as the most powerful military in the world requires you to import 80% of your REEs from a nation that your dumb **** malignant narcissist president is starting a trade war with. When that coutry can just restrict said REEs potentially crippling your military advantage slowly

**So what IF ( this may never actually happen it probably wont but it's just a thought) the US smoothes things over with the republic so Stan's can get the plant back due to national security reasons giving the US access to REEs outside China.
