In an effort to stay intellectually honest, Ucore does not own the rights to MRT. Ucore has an option to purchase a company called IBC who has a technology capable of separating HREE's, LREE's, and other minerals. This option to purchase is currently being disputed by the owner of IBC in court.
Ucore appears to have a favorable position and is seems the OTP will be upheld pending the result of this litigation. The next hearing is scheduled for 6/19/19 in Nova Scotia which is an appeal by IBC to Nova Scotia's jurisdiction.
Once jurisdiction is finalized, we hope that an expedited hearing will be scheduled, and a decision made within the next 6 months. If IBC owners are smart, they will sit down and re-negotiate a deal which is acceptable to both parties.
In either case, we fully expect to be full owners of IBC, its trademarks, patents, and technology at some point in the future.
Additionally, Ucore has the following initiatives (most highly dependant on litigation outcome:
1.) SMC1 in Alaska
2.) KRP coal separation project in Kentucky
3.) MOSP separation from oil bitumen (Suncor)
4.) Bokan Mountain Strategic HREE resource - (drifting towards profitability with rising REE prices in addition to possible subsidizing if considered necessary for national security)
