Do we? Orion is not in the business of owning and operating gold companies.
It would have been nice if Orion bought Sun Valley's shares instead. They could probably get them for 40-41 cents. Maybe Osisko will buy now SV's shares for less than the ones they sold to Orion. Wishful thinking!
Anyway the positive for me is that the company won't get taken over by a lowball offer (less than 70 cents). Hey, if Osisko was willing to sell at 46 cents, they would obviously have sold for say, 60 cents. And Orion can't accept a low ball offer for at least 18 months without Board approval.
Today for the third time, GMP did a 5 million share price cross after knocking the price down by a few cents (37.5 today).
On top of all this, Osisko is buying back its own shares from Orion:
